Play Based Learning in P1.
Our topic is 'A Time to Rhyme.' We have been learning lots of nursery rhymes and our play based learning activities have all been linked to different nursery rhymes or stories with rhyme. We love playing and learning together!
Literacy and Numeracy Activities.
In Literacy we have been busy working on our pencil control and tracing and writing our names. In Numeracy we have been sorting for colour and we went on a colour hunt around our school. We are learning to recognise and form the numbers to 5 and we love using sand and play dough to help us with this.
